Katja (Ekaterina) Tereshko is a PostDoc at the Huygens Institute, working on the Impact&Fiction project. After studying Dutch language, literature and culture and obtaining a PhD in Dutch Studies, she became Head of the Dutch Department and Lecturer in Dutch Language and Translation Studies at Moscow State University. While working at the Russian Academy of Sciences, she was involved in various linguacultural projects and investigated modern changes in Dutch language through corpus analysis.
Her research focuses on stylistic aspects of Dutch literary texts in the context of Digital Humanities. Cognitive stylistics, metaphor, literary translation and computational literary studies are her special interests.
