Julia Neugarten works as a researcher in the Impact & Fiction project. She works at the Huygens Institute for History and Culture as a project lead in CLARIAH, a project developing digital infrastructure for the humanities. Within CLARIAH, Julia is affiliated with work package 6: Text. As project lead she works on several use cases developing and showcasing tools and datasets for the digital analysis of texts. Julia has an rMA in Literary Studies from the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests are fanfiction, fan communities, digital humanities and food studies. Her work has been published in the Digital Literature Review and Frame: Journal of Literary Studies.
