Willem van Hage is technology lead analytics at the Netherlands eScience Center and works as research software engineer on the Impact and Fiction project. He wrote a PhD thesis on ontology alignment for federated search in library systems, and worked as lecturer at the VU University Amsterdam, TIAS, and the Amsterdam Business School. Before joining the Netherlands eScience Center he worked for the startup Synerscope on interactive data visualization, specifically on combining dashboards with interactive text search.
